‘Ninja Master’s ACA NEOGEO’ Review – A Tall Man in a Taller Crowd

Gambar
That apostrophe still bothers me. It has always bothered me. I’m getting that off my chest now. Ninja Master’s ($3.99) what? Sigh. Alright, I promise I won’t bring that up again for the rest of the review. There’s plenty to talk about here beyond that, after all. What we’ve got here is the final fighting game from World Heroes creators ADK, now available for you to play on your mobile device. But hey, there’s nothing unusual about a NEOGEO fighting game in your pocket anymore. So does this do anything special to merit notice? I mean, beyond the ninja thing. We all love ninjas. What I will say is that this is, without question, the best fighting game ADK made. It’s almost frustrating, seeing how far the developer had come from the likes of the first World Heroes . Where could it have gone from here? We’ll never know. All we have is Ninja Master’s . It’s a game that shows ADK had been doing its homework, but it’s also a game that struggles from the company it was in. This game arriv...

Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for August 31st, 2023. In today’s article, we make an awkward hop over the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct before heading into the massive number of new games hitting the eShop today. We summarize those, then head into the new and expiring sales for the day. This is a wild one, friends. The number of unusual games today is rather high. Let’s get to today’s business! News Watch the ‘Super Mario Bros. Wonder’ Direct The usual time zone awkwardness. As I write this, the presentation is about seven hours away, but for you reading this it will have already happened. All I can do is encourage you to watch the above video if you would like to see a fifteen minute presentation on the upcoming 2D Mario platformer. If there’s anything super-exciting in it, we’ll discuss it tomorrow. Otherwise, just enjoy the show. New ‘Steam Link’ Mobile Update Adds New 4K Streaming Option and Sensor Fusion Support on Backbone One Controller

Gambar
Valve just pushed out its first update for the Steam Link (Free) mobile app in over half a year. While the app itself has seen many updates since launch adding full keyboard and mouse gameplay , rumble for controllers , and PS5 DualSense and Xbox Series X controller support, today’s update brings in 1080p and 4K streaming support as a high quality configuration option. In addition to that, the update mentions sensor fusion support for the Backbone One controller on both iOS and Android. I couldn’t get motion or gyro to work on my phone, but I assume sensor fusion is about that. I don’t have any game that would be using motion controls on my MacBook Air right now, and my Steam Deck didn’t let me use gyro through Steam Link, so I’m not sure what this feature will do. If you do get it to work, let us know in the comments below. If you’ve not tried Steam Link yet, you can download the app on iOS here and on Android here . Here’s my new controller buying guide covering the PS4, X...

Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our weekly Wednesday night format as for years that’s the time people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games. And so without further ado please check out the full list of this week’s new games below, and let us know in the comments section which games you’ll be picking up!   AM I AI (Free) iTunes Description Challenge your eyes, and discover if the images are is Real or AI gene...

Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for August 30th, 2023. In today’s article, we have a couple of news items to look at before we do anything else. After that, I go very in-depth on the new Samba de Amigo game in my full review. We have but one new release to look at, and after that we head into the usual lists of new and expiring sales. Don’t worry if today seems a little slow, because tomorrow is going to be completely bonkers. Let’s get to it! News ‘Super Mario Bros. Wonder’ Direct Announced for Tomorrow Are you ready for fifteen minutes of Super Mario Bros. Wonder info and footage? I can’t hear your answer, but if you are, Nintendo’s got you covered. Tomorrow at 7 AM PT or whatever your equivalent local time is, Nintendo has scheduled a Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct. What will be in it? Nintendo really hasn’t said, but obviously you shouldn’t expect Mother 3 or anything. All Super Mario Bros. Wonder , down to the last minute. Of which there are...
