Kirby: Star Allies is a drop in, drop out coop game that lets Kirby befriend his enemies. But more importantly, Kirby gets throw down against a buff King Dedede.
Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for July 31st, 2019. I managed to spend half of my birthday sick in bed, but I got a sweet birthday cake from my wife and some nice Spider-Man loot, so it’s hard to be upset. In today’s article, we’ve got a review of the recent shoot-em-up release Pawarumi , summaries of today’s trio of new releases, some tasty news bits, and a bunch of cool sales to dig into. Let’s roll into it! News ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ Now Features the Hero from ‘Dragon Quest’ I actually got a prediction right for once! Praise me! Anyway, you probably already saw this, but during yesterday’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate video presentation about the latest DLC character, players were treated to the news that the Hero from Dragon Quest would be dropping later that day. That means he’s available right now! There are other Dragon Quest -related items that have been added to the game alongside him, like new Mii Fighter costumes and such. If you...
Welcome to a shorter than usual Steam Deck Weekly for the week. If you’ve not kept up with the recent happenings on the site in the world of Steam Deck, read my 5/5 Steam Deck review of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8 in progress review covering the Steam Deck version. This week sees some notable new releases, release date announcements, trailers, and also a decent amount of Verified games. For some reason, this month and the first week of February are both very crowded specifically for games I was looking forward to playing in 2024. Let’s get into the news first. News The highlights of this week are both Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth having launched together today. It is funny looking back at the announcements of both games because I feel like both were revealed in the same month properly, and they are out on the same day. I love both games and already put over a 100 hours into Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and still have at least 50 hours worth of st...
Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for Monday, April 29th. You may have noticed that there was no SwitchArcade on Friday. I had a bit of a medical emergency and it just wasn’t possible to put anything together. Sorry! But I’m okay now, and as such I’ve decided to catch up on everything I missed. No news or reviews today, but watch for those to make their returns tomorrow. Let’s catch up! New Releases Panty Party ($14.99) I still can’t believe this is a real game that exists and is available on the Nintendo eShop. But here we are. Take control of one of a large variety of flying panties and use your special abilities to attack the enemy panties. That sentence describes a real video game. Given that the game is rated E10+, you probably shouldn’t expect anything too provocative here. Rather, it’s a sort of absurdity that you play just to see stupid-looking situations. And you can even play four-player split-screen, provided you can find three friends that w...
