'Deploy and Destroy' is a First-Person Shooter Featuring Ash from 'Evil Dead' and Other Guest Stars, Out Now on iOS and Android

Entertainment juggernaut Lionsgate is partnering up with developer and publisher Apps Ministry to do something pretty interesting in the increasingly competitive mobile first-person shooter space. Today they've officially launched Deploy and Destroy [Free] on both iOS and Android, and not only does this new brand feature its own lore, characters, and universe but they're blending in some popular Lionsgate IPs to create sort of a crazy crossover experience. All you really need to know about this is you can play as Ash from the Evil Dead series in a first-person shooter. Hail to the king, baby. And, if you're a fan of the Ash vs Evil Dead series that just ended last month, you can also play as Kelly or Pablo in addition to Ash. But let's be real. You're going to play as Ash.

Ash vs Evil Dead isn't the only Lionsgate property to feature in Deploy and Destroy, as you can also play as Tris, Eric, Edward, or Max from the Divergent series of films and novels. More crossovers with other IPs are already planned for future updates, though the developers aren't divulging just what those may be yet. And of course you can also play as an original Deploy and Destroy character which you'll be able to customize with various items, weapons, and upgrades that you earn while playing in the game's deathmatch or team deathmatch modes. It all sounds really interesting and I'm stoked to play with Ash from Evil Dead as well as see whatever other crossovers the developers have in store for the future, so seeing as it's free there's no reason not to give Deploy and Destroy a shot if you're into mobile first-person shooters.
