‘Golf Blitz’, the Manic Multiplayer Entry in the ‘Super Stickman Golf’ Series, Has Soft Launched on iOS and Android

If there’s one thing that Noodlecake Studios are better at than producing some of the most compelling arcade experiences on the App Store, it’s creating excellent (and downright hilarious) marketing campaigns. It’s been a while since I physically laughed out loud at a promotional campaign for a video game, but the ridiculously over-the-top battle sequence in their Golf Blitz trailer, as well as their latest take on that orange square from the Fyre Festival campaign, managed to do just that. I guess Noodlecake really do have that sort of influencer appeal within the mobile gaming community. Anyway, the Super Stickman Golf series is one of my all-time favorites, so I’m delighted to announce that Golf Blitz, a real-time multiplayer version of the classic series, has today soft launched onto the iOS and Android in a number of regions.

Sadly, despite the teaser trailer featuring some epic fighting scenes, this isn’t Noodlecake’s attempt to bring the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to the App Store. Instead, Golf Blitz takes the excellent Race Mode from Super Stickman Golf 3 (Free) and turns it up to 11, creating a RPG-esque level-up system and throwing in a ton of power-ups, weapons and customisable options to give the game its own identity. Initial feedback from the game’s beta test has proven to be positive, although with such a strong source material to expand upon, it’s no surprise that Golf Blitz is a complete hole-in-one.

Of course, this is just the soft launch, so with the developer’s proven track record of updating games long after their official launch, we can expect even more content to be added to Golf Blitz over the course of 2019. If you’re based in Canada, Germany, Ireland or South Korea (or you have an iTunes account linked to one of these regions), you can download Golf Blitz from the App Store and Google Play Store now.
