The Long Awaited ‘Minecraft’ Caves & Cliffs Update Part II Is Out Now on All Platforms

Earlier this month, Mojang announced that the long awaited Minecraft ($6.99) Caves & Cliffs Update Part II would release on November 30th. It has just started rolling out now worldwide on all platforms. If you’ve not kept up with Minecraft, the first part of the big update released on all platforms including iOS and Android back in June. The second part with new cave generation, new cave and mountain biomes, and a lot more is out now. Caves & Cliffs Update Part II has the actual big mountains and cave changes. Today’s Minecraft 1.18 update also brings in drastically updated and improved biome, cave, and ore generation. Watch the new Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Update Part II trailer below:

If you’ve not played Minecraft for a while, this update isn’t the only thing everyone was looking forward to. There’s a big Wild Update coming in 2022 as well. Following today’s update, Minecraft will likely get a few fixes before the holidays to address any potential issues in Caves & Cliffs Part II. It is going to be interesting to see what 2022 brings for for it and whether we get a native version of Minecraft Dungeons on mobile. Do you still play Minecraft often on mobile and what would you like to see in 2022?
