‘Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’ for iOS and Android Releasing on December 14th Through Netflix Games

After multiple delays and the games being MIA for mobile, Rockstar Games’ remake/remaster of the classic trilogy is coming to iOS and Android in less than two weeks. The surprising news is that all three games are Netflix exclusives. This is the biggest get yet for Netflix. If you’ve not kept up with the trilogy, it was released in a rough state, but has since been improved a lot on Xbox Series X at least. Not much improvement on the Switch side, but the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be interesting to play on mobile. This release brings GTA: Vice City – NETFLIX , San Andreas, and GTA III in their new remake form to mobile. Read my review of the trilogy on Switch here. I’ll definitely be covering these new ports.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched on November 11th, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Rockstar Games Launcher). The iOS and Android versions were originally scheduled for the first half of 2022, but will now finally launch on December 14th (or December 15th depending on your timezone). The discounted bundle for the original releases is still up on iOS. Until then, read our reviews of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. You can pre-order the Netflix versions of Vice City here, GTA III here, and San Andreas here. It is unclear if the original releases will be delisted or not. What do you think of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition coming to mobile as a Netflix exclusive?
