‘Divinity: Original Sin 2’ iPad Review – Unbelievably Good

Gambar
Given how great Apple’s support for older devices is, I usually hold on to my iPhone and iPad for a few years at least before looking to upgrade as long as they work fine. While I definitely regret buying the iPad 3rd generation with how underpowered it ended up being, the iPad Air 2 was a fantastic device not just for gaming but also for work. It slowly started to become sluggish with newer games and some games I wanted to play on touch didn’t support it. Upgrading to the iPad Pro 2020 has been great with how well almost everything I play runs on it but one specific game announcement pushed me more towards upgrading. That was the original WWDC reveal for Divinity: Original Sin 2 ($24.99) from Larian Studios. After that announcement, a lot of people including myself were skeptical of how Divinity: Original Sin 2 would look and run on an actual iPad. I say this because I’ve played it on every platform now and both knowing how it runs on PS4/Xbox and how it looks and feels on Nint

You swim through the seas, gobbling up anything smaller than you and tail-thwacking anything that isn’t until it fits in your mouth. The first time you find yourself flopping up on a beach, chomping down on swimmers and sun-bathers as you propel yoursel

TouchArcade Game of the Week: ‘Huntdown’

Gambar
Easy Trigger Games originally announced their cyberpunk bounty hunter action platform shooter Huntdown back in 2016 when it was squarely aimed at iOS and Android devices. And man, it looked good . Everything about it pushed all the right buttons for me, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it when it launched later that year. Except… it didn’t launch later that year. Instead, because it garnered such a positive reception, Easy Trigger partnered up with publisher Coffee Stain Studios with the intention to put Huntdown out on consoles and PC. That didn’t mean the mobile version was outright cancelled, but it was definitely back burnered. Huntdown finally did release on consoles and PC a little over a year ago, and hoo-boy did those extra years in development make a difference. That original 2016 trailer looked great, but Huntdown in its final form looked downright phenomenal. It was as if video games following the 16-bit era kept progressing but never entered the 3D era and every

The obvious highlights include Wonder Boy Asha in Monster World and World’s End Club , but there are plenty of other interesting games to check out. And some really bad ones, too. That’s the business! We’ve also got a rather large list of new sales to look at, and a rather small list of outgoing sales to consider. Let’s have a look at everything and see what’s what! New Releases Wonder Boy Asha in Monster World ($34.99) SwitchArcade Highlight! What a roller coaster ride this one has been. The initial announcement of some of the old Westone people doing a new project related to Monster World IV was very exciting! Finding out it was going to be a polygonal remake of the original was a bit worrying! In the end, this is neither heaven nor hell. It makes a few changes t
