Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our weekly Wednesday night format as for years that’s the time people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games. And so without further ado please check out the full list of this week’s new games below, and let us know in the comments section which games you’ll be picking up!   Boundary! Awesome New Trailer Released for ‘Rush Rally Origins’ and an August Launch is Looking Likely

Gambar
Late last week developer Brownmonster announced a new game called Rush Rally Origins , and as that title suggests it’s a game that takes the best-in-class rally racing of the Rush Rally series and revisits the original game’s top-down view in an effort to create “the definitive top-down racer" on mobile. Based on how incredible the previous entry Rush Rally 3 is, and based on my love of the top-down racing genre, I think Rush Rally Origins has a very good chance of accomplishing that goal. While that initial announcement was accompanied by some very lovely screenshots, I think I’m even more convinced now that I’ve seen Rush Rally Origins in motion thanks to this brand new trailer. Lookin’ real good! Rush Rally Origins will feature 36 new stages spread across the world, with the ability to change the time of day or weather in each of them. And of course, being a Rush Rally game, these stages will take place on multiple types of surfaces including dirt, gravel, sand, mud,

‘Final Fantasy 5 & 6’ to Be Delisted on Steam, Will the Mobile Versions Meet the Same Fate?

Gambar
Yesterday, an extended look at the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series confirmed that the games will launch individually on mobile and PC beginning next month. The video was made private soon after it went live but it showcased many of the games included in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series. At the time, there was no news about how these games will be released and whether they will be updates or new purchases and whether the old versions will be delisted. Obviously Final Fantasy 3 and 4 on mobile and PC will remain considering they were rebranded with the 3D Remake text in the name and logo. Following yesterday’s news, the Steam pages for Final Fantasy 6 ($14.99) Final Fantasy 5 ($14.99) have been updated to reflect that these are the old versions with (Old ver.) in the game names and that both will be delisted on July 27. When Final Fantasy 6 and Final Fantasy 5 were brought to Steam, both ports got a lot of hate for being based on the mobile versions (which have vi

Unlock a New Skin Every 24 Hours in ‘Horizon Chase’ Mobile Until July 26th, PC Version Free Until July 1st

Just a couple of weeks out from releasing the slick Walker-X DLC pack that featured a sweet street-racing theme, new skins, and some remixed tracks, one of our favorite retro-revival racers Horizon Chase is back at it again and is featuring a month-long special event with some cool unlockable vehicle skins. The event is being called the Complete Your Collection Season and it’s offering a second chance for all players to earn some of the game’s most iconic and rare skins. On console and PC this amounts to 8 skins, but for the mobile version of Horizon Chase there are actually 12 additional skins that have not been available on mobile before, making for a total of 20(!) skins to try and unlock. Here’s the catch: Because there are so many additional skins on mobile but the new season runs for the same amount of time, you’ll only have 24 hours to unlock each one in the mobile version. That includes Monday thru Friday and starts today and goes until July 26th. That means the clock is
