Following its announcement a few months ago , Ironhide Game Studio has confirmed that the mobile RTS Iron Marines Invasion will arrive on September 8th worldwide for iOS and Android. Iron Marines Invasion is a new RTS in the Iron Marines series promising to be bigger and crazier than ever with its 25+ campaign levels, 70 special operations to upgrader abilities, 9 unit groups, 27 different troops, 9 powerful heroes, and a lot more. Melting Games has launched a Closed Beta Test for Ark Legends from August 30th, letting players experience the upcoming RPG on iOS and Android. The game features 3D graphics and over 500 heroes to collect across a fantasy world. Ark Legends ‘ CBT features 6 new main story chapters for players to dive into, as well as new maps Sacred Forest and Boil Blood. There are plenty of new side quests to try along with elite challenges that will put players’ skills to the test. Meanwhile, the Lite Story Mode lets players focus on combat, while the “drag to change skill cast orientation" and the class combo mechanisms can spice things up in battle. Players can also enjoy adjusted hero grades and drop rates at Syella Train and more. Back in 2021, Konami announced three new Yu-Gi-Oh! games including the multiplatform Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and the mobile-only Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel . Konami recently began pre-registration for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel alongside the reveal of an overview trailer for it. Today, Konami has announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel will launch worldwide on September 6 for iOS and Android. It blends Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game mechanics with four player battles aiming to be a new gameplay experience welcoming to fans and newcomers. Watch the overview trailer below: Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel features four players connected to each other to form a cross. Retro games: threat or menace? Just joking, of course. We love a good retro game as much as anyone, and it turns out that you can play quite a few of them on your mobile device. Perhaps not as many as you used to be able to, but that’s a story for another day. I’ve decided to make a list of ten of the best retro games you can play on your mobile device. I’ve opted not to include remakes unless they are by and large identical to the original game, and I’m going to try to pick games that are at least a couple of decades old to avoid the debate over where the retro line should fall. Three years ago, almost to the day, Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games held their first digital showcase where they went over tons of news and announcements from their studio. One of the announcements that really caught my eye at the time was a new game called Shovel Knight Dig , an entirely new platformer in the Shovel Knight series but one mixed with elements of digging games similar to something like Steamworld Dig . The biggest surprise was that Shovel Knight Dig was being co-developed with Nitrome, a studio who has put out some of the very best mobile games ever for more than a decade. Due to that connection, and to the fact that Shovel Knight Dig seemed well-suited to being a touchscreen game, I said at the time “I think it remains a strong possibility we’ll see [Shovel Knight Dig] on mobile someday." Late last month, Netflix revealed that Sam Barlow’s new game, IMMORTALITY , will be released on August 30th on iOS and Android through Netflix. Alongside the mobile version, publisher Half Mermaid was going to release it on PC and Xbox platforms including Xbox Game Pass. With just hours to go for the game’s release, Half Mermaid confirmed that the iOS and Android versions of IMMORTALITY have been delayed to ensure the best possible experience for players. It will be coming very soon though, the Tweet goes on to confirm. The Xbox and Steam versions will arrive today. Following its release back in 2012 , we’ve seen Steam Mobile (Free) get a few updates to improve the app visually and slowly add new features. It basically still feels pretty bad to use. I only have it installed for Steam Guard authentication while logging in. On iPad, I just use the website in Safari instead of the app which is even worse to use on bigger screens. A few days ago, Valve finally announced that a new Steam Mobile app is in beta testing with it being available to try out on Android and iOS (this is currently full right now). This new update to the app has been rebuilt on a new framework with a modern design. Valve even pokes some fun at the current version of the app in the announcement. This new app update will include the current features and also QR code sign in, smarter notifications, improved Library support, and multi account support. Following the announcement that that Dragalia Lost (Free) will be getting its main campaign conclusion July with the game shutting down at a later date, Nintendo has just revealed that service will be ending on November 29th / November 30th (depending on your timezone. Dragalia Lost launched back in 2018 as a mobile-exclusive new IP from Nintendo including crossovers with Persona , Monster Hunter , Mega Man , and more over the years. Once service ends in November, you will no longer be able to boot up and play the game. As of today, diamantium, the premium currency, is not available to purchase in-game. The in-game shop Upgrade Essentials and Packs will be available for purchase with diamantium until the end of October. Diamantium will also be available to use for summoning and more until service ends. With Dragalia Lost shutting down, I hope Nintendo resurrects the IP in some form. The world and the music music are highlights for sure, and I’m sure some release for the story
