‘SINoALICE’ Has Finally Gone Live on the App Store and Google Play Worldwide Ahead of Its Official Launch

We’ve been covering SINoALICE for a while with the original Japanese release and the various announcements for the upcoming English version. After an indefinite delay for the original launch, Pokelabo has finally brought the game to players outside Japan as revealed earlier. The global version has two NieR collaborations coming as well beginning on July 16th with the NieR: Automata one and August 6th for the NieR: Replicant collaboration. Required specifications for SINoALICE on iOS and Android are detailed here. Today, the free to play RPG from the mind of Yoko Taro has gone live on the App Store here for iOS and Google Play here for Android. Maintenance is ongoing right now but it is expected to fully launch in a few hours with the in-game download available. I’ll have an interview with Yoko Taro, Shogo Maeda, and Yoshinari Fujimoto going live later today as well. Have you played SINoALICE through the Japanese release yet?

That is quite a headline, but, Franz is the kind of gaming experience that can’t be easily summarized. It’s an ambitious and unique new project from developer Ice-Pick Lodge, who made their name with the open-world horror FPS Pathologic and have also dabbled in mobile with their truly weird survival horror title Knock-Knock Game , which we reviewed back in 2014 . Ice-Pick has grown to become a fan-favorite developer due to their somewhat twisted and unconventional take on developing and storytelling, and “twisted and unconventional" are two extremely apt descriptors for their upcoming title Franz . What even is Franz ? I guess if you had to summarize, Ice-Pick describes it as “a hybrid between an SMS novel and an angry version of tamagotchi" but it also seems like the type of thing that doesn’t really have anything else before it to compare to. ‘Dragon Quest Champions’ Releases Tomorrow in Japan on iOS and Android, Pre-Download Now Available

Earlier this year, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Champions for iOS and Android made in collaboration with Koei Tecmo. With service beginning for the game tomorrow in Japan, Square Enix has begun pre-downloads on the App Store and Google Play. While Koei Tecmo has worked with Square Enix on the Dragon Quest Heroes action RPGs in the past for console and PC, this is a new mobile RPG, and the first big Dragon Quest mobile release since Dragon Quest Builders . Dragon Quest Champions will feature solo and multiplayer mode. Watch the new Dragon Quest Champions mobile trailer below: As of this writing, a localization hasn’t been announced.
