New Apple Arcade Games in December 2022 Include JellyCar Worlds, Dead Cells+, and My Little Pony: Mane Merge

Apple just announced December 2022’s new Apple Arcade additions. Next month will see two Apple Arcade Originals arrive alongside a huge App Store Great. The first Apple Arcade Original is a classic returning with a new entry. JellyCar Worlds () brings the classic series back. We’ve known that a new JellyCar is in the works, but didn’t know what platforms it would release on. It is now coming to Apple Arcade with customization, multiple worlds, and more. Check it out in action below. It is listed for release in December on Steam as well. If you’d like to play it on Apple Arcade, it arrives on December 9th.

Alongside JellyCar Worlds, My Little Pony: Mane Merge from Gameloft arrives as the second Apple Arcade Original. My Little Pony: Mane Merge releases on December 16th taking you on an adventure with mini-games, matching action, and more. It also includes sticker collecting with more than 120 available alongside weekly challenges. Check it out on Apple Arcade here. The App Store Great this month is special. Dead Cells+ brings the complete experience with exclusive Apple Arcade leaderboards. This means the paid DLC is also available for free. I imagine this will be updated going forward alongside the iOS and Android version. Grab Dead Cells+ this Friday on Apple Arcade here. That is quite a headline, but, Franz is the kind of gaming experience that can’t be easily summarized. It’s an ambitious and unique new project from developer Ice-Pick Lodge, who made their name with the open-world horror FPS Pathologic and have also dabbled in mobile with their truly weird survival horror title Knock-Knock Game , which we reviewed back in 2014 . Ice-Pick has grown to become a fan-favorite developer due to their somewhat twisted and unconventional take on developing and storytelling, and “twisted and unconventional" are two extremely apt descriptors for their upcoming title Franz . What even is Franz ? I guess if you had to summarize, Ice-Pick describes it as “a hybrid between an SMS novel and an angry version of tamagotchi" but it also seems like the type of thing that doesn’t really have anything else before it to compare to. ‘Dragon Quest Champions’ Releases Tomorrow in Japan on iOS and Android, Pre-Download Now Available

Earlier this year, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Champions for iOS and Android made in collaboration with Koei Tecmo. With service beginning for the game tomorrow in Japan, Square Enix has begun pre-downloads on the App Store and Google Play. While Koei Tecmo has worked with Square Enix on the Dragon Quest Heroes action RPGs in the past for console and PC, this is a new mobile RPG, and the first big Dragon Quest mobile release since Dragon Quest Builders . Dragon Quest Champions will feature solo and multiplayer mode. Watch the new Dragon Quest Champions mobile trailer below: As of this writing, a localization hasn’t been announced.
